Close your eyes and imagine its 1950
and your strolling along the beach in Orange County.
Crystal Cove is about as close as you will ever get
these days to that dream, and its pretty dam close.
From the beach you can see nothing but cliffs and the
old cottages built years ago.
Across PCH developers have been busy carving up the
rolling hills and building multi-million dollars homes,
but down on the sand its still 1950. Summer time the
beach gets packed, but if you are lucky enough to live
in Orange county you can visit off season when this
picture was taken.
Crystal Cove Beach is an oasis in time that was once
enjoyed by a small colony of cove dwellers's. Today
the beach cottages and surround area are a state park
open to everyone. For the lucky few that reserve a cottage
rental they can relive the glory days of Crystal Cove
Beach.
