out of Newport Beach, California. During whale watching
season, tours depart daily aboard the Ocean Explorer
whale watching ship. Bring along the whole family for
a fun and educational day.
Private whale watching charters or boat rentals are
also available. On a typical trip expect to see gray
whales, dolphins, sea lions, porpoises and harbor seals.

offering whale watching trips to families from Los Angeles
and Orange County. During your gray whale adventure
its not unusual to see several gray whales. Peak season
is winter and spring months while on their annual migration.
Approximately 20,000 gray whales travel along the coast
on their round-trip journey from Bering Sea feeding
grounds to Baja California. Gray Whale watching season
runs from the end of December through mid April.
Along with whale watching trips Daveys
Locker offers year round deep sea fishing,
skiff rentals for harbor fishing and nightly cruises
to watch the Newport Christmas boat parade of lights
in December.
