Disneyland
Resort in Anaheim is the number one attraction
in California. The resort has two Disney theme parks,
the original Disneyland
and California Adventure. Both parks plus Downtown Disney
make up the Disneyland Resort. The city of Anaheim has
made the surrounding area the resort district. If you
have
not
visited Disneyland in a while you will be amazed at the
difference. All but gone are the small mom and pop motels,
the streets have all been widened and are lined with
palm tress and flowers. New hotels and restaurants are
everywhere. Across Harbor Blvd. from the park there
is a new mall, Garden Walk, with restaurants and hotels.
A shuttle bus picks up visitors from their hotels and
drops them off at the resort. There has been
quite a change from the old days at Disneyland.
