Emma
Beach has the remains of a World War II coastal artillery
site along with a few trails to explore around
the Ventura river. During the off
season, camping is on a first come first serve basis.
Reservations are a must for the rest of the year. Cost
is $20 per night and extra vehicles are $8. From October
1st
through
March
31st,
the park
is
open
Friday
through Saturday only. High tides may close the campground
at any time. Railroad tracks run along the length of
Emma Woods beach and chances are you will see a passing
Amtrak Pacific
Surfliner pass by.
