The Ferraras are the oldest active, grape-growing,
wine-making family in San Diego County, supplying premium
quality wines to California since 1932. Because of this
uniqueness, the State of California designated the Ferrara
Winery a State Historical Point of Interest in 1971.
Wine tasting room provides a wide selection
of premium wines as well as delicious grape juice, wine
marinade, and wine vinegar.Open daily 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Self guided tours of the winery has old-fashioned wine making
equipment. Ferrara Winery is located in a residential section
of old Escondido. Defiantly worth checking out.
