| Point Fermin
Lighthouse was built in Built in 1874 and was used as
a warning light for ships entering San Pedro Bay. Today
the lighthouse is a museum is managed by the Department
of Recreation and Parks, City of Los Angeles. The Point
Fermin Lighthouse is open Tuesday through Sunday 1:00
to 400, p.m. There is no charge to view the museum however,
a donation is appreciated. Guided tours are every hour
at 1:00, 2:00, and 300 P.M. The Point Fermin Lighthouse
is located in the Point Fermin Park at the end of Gaffey
Street in San Pedro. |
