Garden of Light Encinitas

 
San Diego Botanic Garden annual Garden of Lights is a dazzling display of over 100,000 sparkling lights Christmas lights. Take an evening walk through the Garden and enjoy a magical experience.

Be sure to visit the “Poinsettia Garden,” with hundreds of poinsettias that immediately put you in the holiday spirit.

Nightly from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. live music is featured at the gardens. Guest can listen to everything from Peace on Earth Carolers to Tom Gates Trio: “Jungle Bells” A Cylypso Christmas. Each night there will be a different entertainer.

Starting December 16th, Belgian draft horses will be pulling wagons through the lower garden, the only way to see the lights in the lower garden.

Santa will on hand to greet kids each night before Christmas from 5:30 – 8:30 pm, in the Gazebo, providing a terrific photo opportunity.

Garden of Lights is truly a magical holiday experience for the whole family so bring them down for an evening of Christmas fun at the gardens.

To keep warm enjoy a glass of hot mulled wine or hot coffee and cocoa from the coffee ho use.. El Pollo Loco also provides healthy Mexican fare each night of the Garden of Lights event.

San Diego Botanic Garden annual Garden of Lights activities include horse-drawn-wagon rides, holiday crafts, marshmallow roasting, visits with Santa, live music, hot mulled wine and refreshments.

Admission prices: Members, $6 or 1 Guest Admission Ticket. Non-members: Adults $12.00; Seniors, Military & Students $8.00. All Children 3-12 $4.00. Children 2 and under free.
