Garden
Walk shopping mall in Anaheim is located across the street
from Disneyland . Years in planning the shopping center
opened it's doors in 2008. With it's location in the heart
of the Anaheim resort district, Garden Walk was designed
with tourist in mind. The three level shopping center offers
an IMAX movie theatre, a fitness center and a state of the
art 300 Anaheim bowling alley. Dining is where Garden Walk
really shines with California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake
Factory, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, McCormick & Schmicks
Grille and P.F. Chang's.
Garden Walk has a mix visitors of 50/50 with tourists and
locals. There are a large selection of stores at Garden
Walk offering just about anything you might need. Many people
visit the mall to take advantage of the best selection of
restaurants in Anaheim. Garden Walk usually has some form
of entertainment going on at weekends and during the busy
summer months. If your staying in Anaheim for a convention
or vacation this handy shopping mall is well worth a visit.
Anaheim Garden Walk will is competing with Downtown
Disney for tourist traffic but has an advantage being
located in the middle of the hotel district. Parking is
available in a 4-story garage. Entrances are located off
Katella Avenue and Disney Way. The first two hours are free
with a third hour free with validation. Valet parking is
available at the South entrance off of Katella Avenue.
Garden Walk mall is open air but there is plenty of shade
from the Southern California sun. The mall features several
water fountains and there are plenty of places to sit and
people watch. Garden Walk is a perfect fit with the Anaheim
resort district adding much needing dining options, entertainment
venues and plenty of shopping. Future plans including an
adjoining hotel run by Disneyland. Locals and out of town
visitors will enjoy spending time at this excellent shopping
mall in Anaheim.

Garden Walk Anaheim Restaurants:
California Pizza Kitchen: Restaurant has
a nice cozy atmosphere. Most tables have a view of the wood
burning pizza oven. Excellent tasty food, however the pizza
is on the small size so if your hungry get one for yourself.
About 20 dollars a person plus drinks. Bottom Line,
Nice place for lunch or dinner with food reasonably priced.
Bubba Gumps Shrimp Company: This place
is always busy and is the most popular dinning place at
Garden Walk. Excellent food but it's going to make a dent
in your pocket book. Inside nice Bubba Gump decor but it's
loud so not a good place for a quite dinner. Bottom
Line, Great food but expensive. About 30 dollars
a plate with desert. Good for a birthday or special event.
McCormick & Schmicks Grille:
Upscale decor with very private booths. Service
is almost too good, our server never left us alone. He got
to be quite annoying not giving us a moments peace to eat
dinner. Expensive for just average food. Expect 40 bucks
a person not including drinks.
