Grand Central Market has been serving customers for nearly a century. The market is and interesting place to visit rich history. On weekends the place is crowded and seating is hard to come by but this all adds to the atsphomere of the market .
The market's customers are mostly latino along with the vendors however with the re-opening of Angels Flight the market has seen a return of tourist traffic.

Across the street from Grand Central Market is Angels Flight railway and Bunker Hill. Angels flight is open seven days a week and only costs a quarter to ride. Parking can be a problem and we recommend that you take the Metro Red Line to the market.

Park at Union Station and then head underground to the metro station. From there its only a short trip to Pershing Square station. Grand Central Market, and Angels Flight are right at the top of the escalator as you leave Pershing Square station. Grand Central Market is a great experience multicultural experience and differently It's worth a peek if you're in the area.

Grand Central Market is just off the 110 Freeway. From either direction of the 110 in downtown Los Angeles take the 4th Street Exit. Proceed down 4th St. At the 2nd light turn left on Hill Street. The Market is half a block down on your right hand side.

You can visit the Market and Angels Flight by subway. Ride the Metro Red Line to the Pershing Square stop and exit at the Fourth Street exit. Grand Central Market 317 S. Broadway Los Angeles, CA 90013 Open Monday - Sunday 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

The Grand Central is restored and maintained as a living monument to central markets. Free one hour parking with a minimum purchase of ten dollars. You must validate your parking ticket at the information desk and by a vendor. You need two validations for the free 1 hour parking.
