Grand Central Market Los Angeles

This open-air market has been serving customers for nearly a century. You will find fresh-picked fruits and vegetables, herbs and spices, and fresh cut flowers. There are many different vendors selling cooked food of every kind to satisfy your appetite. Sample the fresh made tortillas made right at the market place. Across the street is the famous Angels Flight railway and Bunker Hill. The Grand Central is restored and maintained as a living monument to central markets. Free parking with a minimum purchase of ten dollars. Validate your parking ticket at the information desk. Angels flight is currently closed. but scheduled to reopen summer 2007.

The Market is just off the 110 Freeway. From either direction of the 110 in downtown Los Angeles take the 4th Street Exit. Proceed down 4th St. At the 2nd light turn left on Hill Street. The Market is half a block down on your right hand side. You can visit the Market and Angels Flight by subway. Ride the Metro Red Line to the Pershing Square stop and exit at the Fourth Street exit.
