Irvine Regional Park California

Irvine Regional Park has a rich history, and contains some of the oldest Coast Live Oaks in Orange County. Today the park is a favorite destination for families from all over Southern California. Picnic areas are located throughout the 477 acre park with convenient parking and restroom facilities steps away. A paved trail meanders through the central park providing easy access to playgrounds, softball fields, horse shoe pits, volleyball courts and tow lakes. Irvine Pak is also home to the Orange County Zoo which focus is on animals and plants native to the southwestern United States. Activities include the Irvine Park Railroad, children's pony rides, paddleboat rentals, hiking and bike rentals. Bring along a picnic lunch and find a shady spot under one of the oak trees for a relaxing day at the park. Irvine Regional Park is very family oriented and kids will have a blast exploring all the park has to offer.

Things to do Irvine Regional Park - Ride the Irvine Park Railroad, rent a paddle bike and ride around the lake, rent a bike or 4-wheel surrey and follow the trails, have a family picnic under one of the huge oak trees, have a kids birthday party at the Irvine Park Railroad, visit the Orange County Zoo, take the kids for pony rides, rent a horse and go for a trail ride, play horse shoes, bring along a huge group and reserve the company picnic area or take a hike through one of the most historic parks in Southern California. Entrance fee is very reasonable and so are the train and paddle boat rentals. You can have a fun day and only spend a few dollars at Irvine Regional Park.
