For anyone who has ever traveled through Riverside, March AFRB is a familiar landmark. As you go past you will notice a good number of aircraft outside the base surrounding an old hanger with a checkered roof. This is the March Field Museum home to over 60 historic aircraft. Inside the hanger you will find vintage aircraft and displays relating to the history of military aircraft. Outside you will find a vast collection including the famous record breaking Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird" and a B-29 Superfortress. This is a really great place to visit you will really be amazed viewing this huge collection of military aircraft. Weekend's they have a hot dog stand with cold drinks and ice cream. Be sure to pick up a souvenir from the museum store. Plan on spending at least three hours to view the entire collection. Tour groups are welcome with advance notice.

March Field Air Museum, and the P-38 National Museum are adjacent to the March Air Reserve Base, Riverside, California open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. seven days a week and most holidays excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Easter.
