Oak
Glen is located in the mountains above the
San Bernardino Valley. Taking a drive up Oak Glen road
is like taking a trip back in time. Escape from the
advancing tracts of houses below and into a valley
filled with apple orchards and farms. Oak glen is famous
for it's
apples and many of the farms offer
U-Pick apples. Apple season runs from September through
November. During the summer you can pick berries and
Pumpkins are available from the end of September through
the end of October.
Other activities
in the Glen include quaint shops, delightful country
dining, and intriguing historic sites. Thousands of visitors
come to Oak Glen each fall to buy fresh picked apples,
pressed cider, baked apple pies and gifts.
Oak Glen has been growing heirloom apples since the 1850s
and generations of visitors return each year.
Fall is a great time to visit mile-high
Oak Glen however weekends can get busy. For a more relaxing
trip head up the mountain during the week or take a summer
day trip.

farms: Riley's at Los Rios Rancho, Snow-Line Orchard,
Wood Acres, Parrish Pioneer Ranch, Law's Cider Mill & Ranch,
Mr. Law's Apple Stand, Mr. Law's Apple Stand and Willowbrook
Apple Farm. Any time of the year is good for a trip to Oak
Glen California.
Directions:
From Los Angeles, take I-10 / San Bernardino Freeway east
to San Bernardino (approximate 50-60 miles). Turn right towards
Cherry Valley (0.2 mile), then turn left (east) onto Cherry
Valley Blvd. (3.4 miles). Turn left (north) onto Beaumont
Ave. (0.8 mile). Road name changes to Oak Glen Road. You'll
reach Oak Glen in about five miles.
