Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade 2015

The Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade started out in the early 60s as a way for locals to have fun. Today the Golf Cart Parade attracts over 10,000 visitors to the annual event in Palm Desert. Decorated golf carts along, high school bands and a Marine Corps Color Guard highlight this unusual parade.

Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2015 – Parade Steps off at 1pm

The parade route is westbound on El Paseo from San Luis Rey to Ocotillo. Event activities include a pancake Breakfast 8am, Kids Play Zone, Vendor Booths with food, drink and all things golf including a Lumpy's Golf Fair and Show.

Thie annual parade and starts off at 8:00 am with the Palm Desert Rotary pancake breakfast. At 10:00 am Judging begins at the Golf Car Show along with Lumpy's Golf Fair! Featuring golf show, clothing and equipment sales. From 11:00 am – 3:00 pm the food Booths and children’s activity area will be open with the parade kicking off at 1:00 PM.

The children's area will have clowns, face painting, crafts, a rock climbing wall and more. The Children’s Area is located on Larkspur, south of El Paseo. Free admission to kids play area. Bring the whole family for this event and parade in Palm Desert.

Only electric powered carts are allowed in the parade making this an eco friendly event.The parade route is s westbound on El Paseo from San Luis Rey to Ocotillo. Seating is curb side with some VIP and senior seating. The Parade starts at 1:00 PM with activities happening all day long.

An awards ceremony for best decorated cart will be held at 12:30 pm at the intersection of El Paseo and San Luis Rey. Trophies will be distributed at that time.

The Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce and City of Palm Desert work together to bring this parade to area residents and visitors. There us also a committee of volunteers who make the parade possible.

Palm Desert is located off I-10 around 15 miles east of Palm Springs. The drive from Los Angeles is about two hours depending on traffic.
