Quail Hill Loop vista point
is less than a mile form the parking lot which you can see
in the distance. Quail Hill is the only preserved open space
along the 405 freeway until you reach Camp Pendelton. To
the right is Shady Canyon a gated community which has a
public hiking and bike trail that is open to the public
during the day. Free parking for both trails is available
at the entrance to Quail Hill Loop.
