Travel Town Griffith Park offers several locations for kids birthday parties including outdoor picnic areas and inside vintage railway cars. The town railroad will thrill your party guests as it travels around the museum two times on each trip.

Birthday party and event rental facilities include and uncovered picnic tables and restored train cars. travel Town is the perfect place for kids who love trains. Along with the little train that goes around the museum there is a covered train shed with a couple of old trains you can actually climb in and pretend you are a train engineer.

For over 50 years, Travel Town has been a favorite Southern California location for children's Birthday Parties, Family Reunions and weddings. Kids love trains and they will love a Travel Town birthday party. Outdoor Picnic areas include both "Reserved" and "First Come First Served" spaces.

If you want a really unique birthday party your child will remember for a long time, this is the place. Birthday parties are usually held on weekends and reservations are usually booked weeks ahead. Travel Town Museum is an affordable birthday party option for parents on a budget.

Travel Town Transportation Museum is located at 5200 Zoo Dr. Los Angeles. Spaces must be reserved in advance call 323-662-5874 for pricing and reservation information. Admission and parking for Travel Town is free.

There is only a small charge for train rides making Travel Town one of the most affordable places in Los Angeles for children's birthday party or a great place for a family outing.

Travel Town is still open daily at 10:00 AM, free of charge. Docent lead tours are held the 2nd Saturdays of the month from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Holden's Corner Fun "activities for young children" are are held on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
