Universal
City Walk consists of shops, restaurants and entertainment
venues. Chances are you will not go here to do the family
shopping even though some stores do sell clothing.
The majority of visitors are passing through on their way
to Universal
Studios Hollywood or locals out for a night on the town.
Universal Studios City Walk is a nice place to visit if
you like shopping at specialty stores or eating at themed
restaurants. There is also a movie which will give you a
five dollar general parking rebate at box office. City Walk
is a fun outdoor shopping mall for locals and visitors.
11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Sun -Thur 11a.m. - 12 a.m. Fri. -Sat.
There is no fee to visit City Walk but parking costs ten
dollars. If your on the way to visit Universal Studios amusement
park you will have to go through City Walk, like it or not.
This is Universal's way of funneling people through the
mall in the hope that they will spend money on their way
in or on the return trip back.
One exception is if you opt for the preferred parking which
lets you bypass most of City Walk. There are a lot more
places to eat at the walk than in the park so you can always
get a hand stamp and head over to one of the many restaurants
for lunch or dinner.
