The Lake is open from sunrise to sunset. Motorized boats and sailboats over 8 feet in length are required to have a Lake Use Pass. A public beach is located at 500 Lakeshore Drive.

Orange Empire Railway Museum is just 15 miles from the lake and well worth the trip. Visitors to the museum can ride on classic trolleys and passenger trains of California’s past. One ticket is good trains rides all day long. Free admission and parking.
Elsinore Outlet Mall is an outdoor shopping center with factory outlets and discount stores. The outlet mall is conveniently located next to Interstate 15 and the lake is just a couple of minutes drive from the stores.
Skull Canyon Zip Line Adventures Corona. Skull Canyon Zip Lines is located on 160 acres of some of the most scenic land that southern California has to offer. The terrain is mountainous, and there are magnificent views to be had as you fly through the warm, clean air.
Ortega Highway is the gateway to the Cleveland National Forest offering hiking, biking, and camping opportunities. If you are traveling from Orange County the Ortega is a scenic alternate route to the Inland Empire from the always busy 91 freeway.
